Water crisis has worsened in Maharashtra’s Sambhajinagar. With summer approaching, the inconsistent water supply is causing concern among residents. Long queues for water tankers have become a common sight, highlighting the severity of the issue.
The city, formerly known as Aurangabad, faces erratic water supply, with water sometimes available only once a week or fortnight. The water scarcity is not a new problem, but an age-old one, with the government’s water pipeline project only 60% completed after nearly 18 years.
