Tamil Nadu DMK MP Kathir Anand’s alleged derogatory statements against women during a campaign event in Vellore have stirred a massive controversy in the state. The MP allegedly made remarks suggesting that women’s faces were shining due to the use of fairness cream and powder, questioning if they had received Rs 1,000. The state BJP has criticised the MP over the remarks.
